We’ve been asked about our beetroot hummus a few times, so we thought we’d share our recipe for this delicious and colourful food. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Ingredients: 3 medium size beetroots 1 can of chick peas 3 tbs extra virgin olive oil 3 garlic cloves 1tbs of tahini Salt to taste Juice of 1/2 lemon Instructions: Boil the beet root for about 20-30 minutes until you can pierce a knife through quite easily. Peel the beet root and put to one side. Rinse and peel(optional) the chick peas and then place them in a food processor. Add the tahini, lemon, olive oil, salt to the mix and blend. Now add the beetroot and blend again, add more salt or lemon to taste. Lovely!
